Thriving Thursdays: Some Will Never Find It – Guest Post by Teagan Riordain Geneviene…

Hello all.  I’m Teagan Ríordáin Geneviene here with a guest post for the Story Reading Ape.  On Thursdays I make a special point of helping people thrive.

Thriving Thursdays: Some will never find it. Will You?

Sometimes we find things without looking for them.  However, I doubt we’ll ever find a thing we didn’t believe was there in the first place.  In my own life, I have found that I can’t achieve something that I’m not able to imagine.   Will instead of wish, imagine, believe…

“Those who don’t believe in magic will never find it…”   Roald Dahl

Some will never find it.  Will you?  I believe you will.

Wishing you a Thriving Thursday.

Mega hugs,

Teagan

  1. This is poignant, Teagan. A friend of mine and I were talking about a similar theme recently. It seems to me that even if we do believe in the magic, there are days when discouragement tests the belief. We were talking about belief being a constant, a touchstone, so to speak. When in the grip of doubt it’s helpful to reaffirm our belief by reminding ourselves what it is we truly believe as a fundamental premise. You have written a short, sweet, resonant post here, and I appreciate it!

    • Thank you, Claire. Your beautiful comment really does mean a lot to me. I always say that with these posts, I’m encouraging myself as much as anyone else. When results take years to achieve, I have to look for that tiny bit of root that is still left when the “plant” of belief has nearly died. But there are many small things where this is equally important and not as difficult to achieve. Thrive on, my friend.

  2. You ARE motivating me, Teagan. YES, I totally believe in the power of positive thinking, in believing our worth and value, and wishing (really, I guess what I call mind stretching) ourselves to be anything we want to be, including lots of love and beauty in our lives. xoxoxo

  3. Chris, thank you again for hosting me for these motivational posts. You are a champion thriver. When I was able to do this kind of writing as part of my “real job” it always helped me thrive as much as those I wanted to encourage. Thrive on, dear Ape!
