Good morning, everybody.
It is I, your favorite dog, Danny the Dog.

I thought I’d do something a little different this month and not complain about my human, Andrew.
He was very pleased to hear that news and even gave me an extra turkey slice this morning.
Right now he’s out celebrating his good fortune, which means I’ll have to bail him out of the drunk tank later this evening.
But enough about him.
Today, I want to talk about my new friend.
Her name is Aoibha Walsh. Aoibha is an Irish name and it’s pronounced Ava.

I’m told “BH” is pronounced like a “V” in Irish Gaelic.
Anyway, she is a pretty little Irish lass who is eleven years old.
She has a dog by the name of Bailey—here’s a picture of him.

I guess he’s okay if you like dogs.
Aoibha also has a cat and some kind of lizard thing.

But what I want to tell you about is her book.
She has written a great book (both Andrew and I have read it) titled, Pegasus Rewritten. She wrote it when she was ten.
It’s a short book (10,000 words), but a very good first effort. If only Andrew’s first effort was as good.
Anyway, I’m here to ask you to buy her book (it’s only $0.99) and give her a review.
For all of you who buy her book and give a review, I will enroll you in the Danny the Dog Fan Club at no cost to you.
Regular value: three pounds of turkey slices.
What a savings!
The link’s are below, so please don’t let me down.
I have to go now.
The phone is ringing and I just know it’s Andrew calling from jail (again!).
P.S. Please reblog this, put it on Twitter, pin it to the Pin thingy, StumbleUpon it, share it on Facebook and place it on your refrigerator with a magnet.
Thank you.
Danny.

Danny the Dog is a guest on The Story Reading Ape, introducing us to his new friend, Aoibha Walsh. She’s 11 years old and has published her first book, Pegasus Rewritten. To every one who reads and reviews Aoibha’a book, Danny is promising to enroll in the Danny the Dog Fan Club at no cost (regular value: three pounds of turkey slices). Seems Danny might have himself a new career 🙂

Andrew told me that if Aiobha sells more books than him, he’s cutting off my turkey slices for a whole week!!! He’s been complaining that I never tout his books. If he would only write one as captivating as Pegasus Rewritten then maybe I would.

A fine-looking cadre of creatures and one cute little Irish lass! I’ve read Aoibha’s book and was impressed that it had been written by a 10 year old. (And, Danny, I have already left my review!)
Zoe, in a bit of a mood, reblogged without comment and when I asked her about that, she said, “At least I *have* a blog,” shooting me a look. Then she jumped back to the couch, meowing, “Tell Danny I said hello.”

Okay. Thanks for the review. And please tell Zoe that anytime she reblogs one of my wonderful, sensational, and titillating (can I say that on a family blog?) posts she better make a comment. All she has to do is say how handsome and smart I am … and refer to my writing prowess … and maybe a little bit about how I make the world a better place in which to live … and … opps! Andrew just came in … gotta go.
