Good morning, everybody.
It is I, your favorite dog, Danny the Dog.
I thought I’d do something a little different this month and not complain about my human, Andrew.
He was very pleased to hear that news and even gave me an extra turkey slice this morning.
Right now he’s out celebrating his good fortune, which means I’ll have to bail him out of the drunk tank later this evening.
But enough about him.
Today, I want to talk about my new friend.
Her name is Aoibha Walsh. Aoibha is an Irish name and it’s pronounced Ava.
I’m told “BH” is pronounced like a “V” in Irish Gaelic.
Anyway, she is a pretty little Irish lass who is eleven years old.
She has a dog by the name of Bailey—here’s a picture of him.
I guess he’s okay if you like dogs.
Aoibha also has a cat and some kind of lizard thing.
But what I want to tell you about is her book.
She has written a great book (both Andrew and I have read it) titled, Pegasus Rewritten. She wrote it when she was ten.
It’s a short book (10,000 words), but a very good first effort. If only Andrew’s first effort was as good.
Anyway, I’m here to ask you to buy her book (it’s only $0.99) and give her a review.
For all of you who buy her book and give a review, I will enroll you in the Danny the Dog Fan Club at no cost to you.
Regular value: three pounds of turkey slices.
What a savings!
The link’s are below, so please don’t let me down.
I have to go now.
The phone is ringing and I just know it’s Andrew calling from jail (again!).
P.S. Please reblog this, put it on Twitter, pin it to the Pin thingy, StumbleUpon it, share it on Facebook and place it on your refrigerator with a magnet.
Thank you.
Danny.

It’s nice to meet such a handsome pooch. I will buy the book, of course, and have posted this on my Facebook page.

I haven’t been called a pooch since I was a pup. But I like it. Thanks for the fb post. Oh, and you’re right … I am indeed handsome. All the females tell me so — both human and canine.

Danny is a wise one, and it’s wise of us to follow his ‘lead.’ What a great intro to a new and vibrant storyteller!

I was just off to try out my new treadmill when I heard My Master’s Voice calling from afar.. Sure enough Danny the Dog is starring on The Story Reading Ape this morning with an appeal… unlike his usual (give us a slice of turkey or else) he is promoting a book written by a ten year old Irish lass called Aoibha Walsh – Pegasus Rewritten and Danny would like you to buy for 99c and review… he is waving his normal entry fee into his fan club – 3 slices of Turkey which is much more than 99c (if you buy the good stuff) So please head over and find our more!

Welcome. My daughter has been writing too from a very young age but hasn’t published anything yet. But I do think she will in the not to distant future.

Hi Danny, Pinky the Cat here. I’m going to get Aoibha’s book even though it isn’t about cats. It looks like a great book, and I can’t wait to read it to Diana (she loves magic and unicorns). Maybe she’ll pick up some writing tips. Great luck to Aoibha on her book. I’m off to Amazon. 😺 ❤ 😺
