Excellent article. I saw it in thebookdesigner.com weekly blogs. Also glad I use link shorteners (smarturl) for all my book promotions. Maybe that’s why none of my reviews have been booted yet! 🙂

When I started my blog, I found long URLs cumbersome when converting them to hyperlinks. So I tried deleting parts of them and discovered that the page still came up in my browser. I’ve been doing this ever since. It’s good to know that a part of the URL is a trail of breadcrumbs. Thanks so much for posting this, Chris.

This is something I didn’t know, but glad I do now. Very useful for any author selling on Amazon.

I’m going to check out this information! Seems not only useful but necessary, and may help solve some of those fears about removed reviews. If this works, I’ll be changing the links on my personal web site, virginiasanderson.com, to take readers on a better path to my books. Let me know if you have experience with this process, and whether it works for you!
