  1. Excellent article. I saw it in thebookdesigner.com weekly blogs. Also glad I use link shorteners (smarturl) for all my book promotions. Maybe that’s why none of my reviews have been booted yet! 🙂

  2. When I started my blog, I found long URLs cumbersome when converting them to hyperlinks. So I tried deleting parts of them and discovered that the page still came up in my browser. I’ve been doing this ever since. It’s good to know that a part of the URL is a trail of breadcrumbs. Thanks so much for posting this, Chris.
