But I wonāt let that stop me.
For any bloggers not yet savvy about pingbacks and Twitter mentions, here are two tips Iād like to share that will make things easier for your followers:

1. Pingbacks
Itās an honor to be mentioned in someone elseās blog post, and itās a great way to build blogging connections. But unless our blog gets a notification, we wonāt be aware we were mentioned unless we stumble upon the post. And since most of us canāt read every post of every blogger we follow, we risk not seeing the mention at all.
The good news is, we can help our fellow bloggers by activating a pingback whenever we mention them in our posts. Pingbacks are an automated way to alert other bloggers we haveā¦

When I was a young defenceless ape, my Mom sent me to Sunday School where they force fed us the bible – in Genesis (somewhere) is a guy called Peleg who lived in the time of Giants and the earth divided (before the Babylon incident, confusion of tongues, etc) š±šš

No, that’s just your comments showing up as on my blog admin – I know when there are new comments (even from blogs where I’ve left a comment), likes, pingbacks, reblog said, etc. – an orange dot appears at the bell shape top right of admin page š
Pingbacks only happen when a specific link is given (or embedded) in an article / intro / comment, eg: http://thelindenchronicles.com/2016/01/05/pingbacks-and-twitter-mentions-are-you-up-to-snuff/ š
