Another WordPress problem?
I know I am not the only one having problems with the reader not showing all the posts from blogs that I follow.
I know this because I see people discussing it around and about. I know because people have told me.
I know a few people went and commented on the thread I started on the forum https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/reader-not-showing-new-posts-from-blogs-i-follow?replies=42
But it seems that WordPress are drawing a blank, as each link I give them to posts I discovered had been missing, are showing up when WordPress uses my blog to look for them.
I know CC has been back to the forum and stated that she is still having problems, but WordPress seem to be suggesting that its due to the number of blogs I follow, and that I am not scrolling back far enough, which is absurd because 9 times out of 10 I scroll back to the last…

I use e-mail as well and have a separate account attached to my blog mail. I found Reader overwhelming with extra stuff that wasted my time.

I subscribe to blogs by email whenever possible. This means my inbox can become somewhat cluttered. However it is, in my experience more effective than the Reader but, then again perhaps I need to show more patience when attempting to use the Reader! Kevin

I set up a secondary AOL email account where all my blogs go. That way I don’t clutter up my business inbox. Just a thought! 🙂 Although when I check it—usually about once a week—there’s 50-70 posts in there! Ha ha.

And that means I have to log out of WordPress, which is connected to my primary email, in order to sign up with a different email…
But it works…really! 😀

I check daily and get well over 2000 per day Susan, I’m following so many blogs AND other places like Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+, Twitter, etc 😀
So I skim through and select what appears to be of interest and transfer them into a Blog folder for viewing later when I have more time 😀

Thanks for the suggestion Susan. I will certainly consider doing something similar. Best. Kevin

I use email notifications too Kevin, the Reader moves too fast for me (and annoys me) 😀
