Guest Pre-published #Writer / #Author Mary Spaid

Way back before last Christmas I came across Mary when she left a comment on (Authors Please Note)My blog subheading is “stories with no books,” because nothing that I have written has made it into a book. I don’t even know anything about getting a book published. Which totally explains why none of my books or words are flying off any shelf, anywhere. I don’t even have a book sitting on a shelf. Sigh”.So I did my usual Old Ape thing and replied “Oh Mary, Mary, please send me an article telling all about yourself and your stories. I will post you as my Guest Aspiring Author” Here was her reply: Mary SpaidMy blog subheading is “stories with no books,” because nothing that I have written has made it into a book. I am just writing things down now, before I forget. I am the oldest daughter of 9 children (I have one older brother), so I did a lot of babysitting. I kept everyone entertained by reading books or pulling stories out of my own mind. Mary_Stories Long AgoAttached is an old photo from the 1960s–of me telling stories to some brothers, sisters, and a few neighborhood kids (I typed my name on the photo, so you will know which one I am) I have always loved the mysterious world hidden within books and the imagination. Have a great holiday season and best wishes for the coming year. Mary Strong-Spaid Blog (Stories with No Books) Google+ Mary has, in fact, made a special Limited Edition Book for her Grandson who lives in Texas, the book is called “Revolt of the Green World.” and YOU can read it HERE, she is now working on a sequel called. “Revolt of the Green World Part 2—Attack of the Evil Villager.” (her Grandson has already decided that the evil villager is based on his younger brother).  So my lovely visitors and followers, why not take yourself over and see her blog, say ‘Hi’ and give Mary the encouragement she needs to get everything written down before she forgets, oh, and don’t forget to connect with her on Google+ if you hang out there 🙂
