on Just Publishing Advice:
Can you publish a paperback book for free?
Yes, you can, and it’s a great way to add credibility by offering a print version of your book in addition to an ebook.
Like an ebook, when someone buys your print version, you will earn a royalty payment with no upfront costs.
If you publish with Amazon, your earnings will be 60% of your selling price, less the printing cost.

The author of this article mentions Amazon as a possible self-publishing site.
Word of advice: Use Amazon’s 2 factor system if you have a cellphone with reception in the countryside. My Amazon account was hacked and I no longer have access to my own books. Fortunately, the hacker doesn’t have access to my books, either.
