on Publishing … and Other Forms of Insanity:
Here are four new agents actively seeking clients. New agents are a boon to writers. They are actively building their lists, and will go the extra mile for their clients.
Tom Killingbeck is interested in non-fiction.
Victoria Dillman is most interested in adult literary/upmarket fiction and narrative and expert-driven nonfiction. She would particularly like to hear from underrepresented communities including neurodivergent, queer, and BIPOC voices.
Jenissa Graham is currently seeking submissions for middle grade, YA, and select adult projects. In middle grade and YA, she is interested in contemporary, action/adventure, mystery/suspense, sci-fi, fantasy, and psychological thrillers. In adult, she is only currently open to mystery/suspense and psychological thrillers.
Hannah Strouth is looking for historical fiction, contemporary rom-coms, and upmarket/literary fiction.
Always check the agency website and agent bio before submitting. Agents can switch agencies or close their lists, and submission requirements can change.
NOTE: Don’t submit to two agents at the same agency simultaneously. If one rejects you, you may then submit to another.
