Should you publish exclusively on Amazon, or should you publish your books wide, making them available on every platform, in every country and every format possible?

This is probably one of the common questions asked by writers considering self-publishing, and it’s an important one. However, it isn’t a decision set in stone, either.

So as you deliberate whether to go exclusive with Amazon or put your book up on multiple platforms—which some call “going wide”—know that you can change this if you feel it would be a better strategy.

  1. Good article and great timing, thank you – I’m looking at publishing a memoir I wrote on my 93 year old mother who’s just been recognised for International Women’s Day by BORAL as their first female accountant (1949), for her achievements and inspiring other women.
