THIS IS NOT ‘The Flu’, ‘only a cold’, or even, ‘pneumonia’.
Unless you have a valid medical reason not to, please, of your own free will, get into the habit of wearing a face mask or face covering when you go into shops, public transport, and wherever else the Government, or premises advise…
If you don’t, you might lose your free will and HAVE to wear a mask, plus, have an air tube shoved down your throat into your lungs, plus, need a team of fellow humans to care for you while you are in a coma…
Plus, your loved ones, as well as complete strangers, will have been put at risk.

As we head into another week this message from The Story Reading Ape is a reminder that wearing masks is not just for our own protection but of others too. Particularly those who turn up each day to the shops and the transport we are using to make sure we get what we need. All the time infections are in the community and especially now as they are on the rise in many countries, wearing a mask saves your life and the lives of those around you.
I wear mine and I also make face masks too. Thanks for sharing this.

So true, Chris. Here they have made it compulsory now, and considering the number of cases are going up again, none too soon. Keep safe.

Thank you, Chris. That’s all I can say, thank you. And heartfelt thanks to the nurse who named the elephant in the room.
