During the last few days, I’ve noticed that when I want to reblog posts, either:
- The Reblog Button doesn’t work, OR,
- After persistently pressing it, it eventually works, BUT,
- It takes up to 10 minutes, a LOT of searching through my Admin – Posts – Published section, to actually FIND and UPDATE the reblogged post.
WordPress are obviously making ‘enhancements / improvements’ and still trying to catch all the gremlins they accidentally let loose during the process – SIGH…
If you are finding the same problem, or, you follow a notification link to someone’s reblogged post, please be patient, do not delete the notification, but keep trying until it finally appears.

Yep, having the same problem. It seems to work more on FireFox than on Chrome or Edge/Explorer. *sigh*

I found that refreshing the page helped and the reblog button appeared.. but there are other glitches going on for some, losing profile photos and losing blog identification on comments… There is definitely something afoot.. just hope I can reblog your Monday Funnies….. we could all use a laugh.. ♥

Often the reblog button is just not there when I try to reblog….and the other thing is what (I think) Sally alluded to…and that is, I sometimes can’t post at all. One of the most common messages I’ve been getting is “your URL is too long” (it never was before…and now I can’t remember whether I got that message only when I tried to post using my FB icon, or if I got it regardless how I tried to log in, I think the latter). Anyway, none of my URLs were ever too long before! And now it will be interesting to see if THIS post goes through lol

It is a bit hit and miss at the moment. Just hope they don’t fix what ain’t broke…I am beginning to sound like a grumpy old woman but I do wish they would stop ‘enhancing’ hugsx

How strange, Chris. I’ve tried clicking the Reblog button on a number of posts and got a small window opening under the reblog button where I could if I wanted, reblog it. Yet, on other posts, the window didn’t open.

I press the reblog link, but the reblog post button doesn’t appear when I search for it with my screen reader. I’m glad I’m not the only one having this problem. I can press posts all day ling, but some blogs only allow you to reblog.

I seem to be put in limbo when I first get to a post. I’m logged in, but it says I have to follow people again. Takes 1-3 refreshes to get it back on track.

The “refresh” up top helps. I’ve noticed another glitch as well. When I try to use the “Like” button there’s a system spasm before I get results. I just wait it out. 🙂 — Suzanne

This has been doing my head in for weeks. There is no pattern that i can discern. I have the Wordpess app on my Iphone, and the reblog button doesn’t work. I access on my Mac, doesn’t work. Sometimes. Access at work on Chrome, sometimes works. I logged out this morning, then it became available on one site, but not others. This post, for example, I can’t reblog on IOS, but can on my PC at work (Chrome).
Grrr. I have read some awesome blog posts that i would love to share, but can’t. So it’s not just me?
