The most flexible punctuation mark—the Em Dash
There are many ways to use dashes in writing.
But it is necessary first to make the difference between a dash and a hyphen.
En and em dashes are longer than the hyphen and are used to indicate a break in a sentence. The hyphen is used to join words together to show that they are combined.
