
The word like has a lexical meaning.
But, I like to write has a grammatical meaning.
When you think of meaning, you usually rush off to a dictionary to look up a word.
But do you think about grammatical meaning in your writing?
If so, or not, how to do look up a grammatical meaning.

Yes, always check myself. I make typing errors and I have to reread and rewrite several times. My issue, I was first taught British English then when immigrated to the US at the age of 4, I then continued learning American English so until this day, I may confuse phrases, jargons, meanings and other factors. My English HS teacher caught that and he tried to help me; and he did.
