The American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE) is a non-profit organisation and acts as a catalyst to advance energy efficiency policies, programs, technologies, investments and behaviours. Each year they publish their International Energy Scorecard. Take a look which countries made it to the top Rankings (even though none scored full points on all metrics, so… there’s still room for improvement!) 💚

I’m glad to see the US climbed in the rankings, but I worry we may backslide. I also find China’s ranking questionable in view of the terrible pollution hanging over their capital city and their increasing number of coal-fired energy plants.

My relatives went there as tourists last year…. they had to cut their vacation short due to severe pollution. It was so smoggy, they said. But , I’m so glad they’re finally tackling this problem. It will be a better world if they succeed. Now, for their fake food * fake rice, fake eggs, fake cabbage *
