The American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE) is a non-profit organisation and acts as a catalyst to advance energy efficiency policies, programs, technologies, investments and behaviours. Each year they publish their International Energy Scorecard. Take a look which countries made it to the top Rankings (even though none scored full points on all metrics, so… there’s still room for improvement!) 💚

I’m glad to see the US climbed in the rankings, but I worry we may backslide. I also find China’s ranking questionable in view of the terrible pollution hanging over their capital city and their increasing number of coal-fired energy plants.

As I mentioned to Ren, below – China is leading the world regards solar energy providing electrical power, Lyn.
Plus, it’s taking giant leaps to tackle air and water pollution.
These three things push China up the charts 😎

China ranking higher than the US and Australia and others makes this a bit questionable.

My relatives went there as tourists last year…. they had to cut their vacation short due to severe pollution. It was so smoggy, they said. But , I’m so glad they’re finally tackling this problem. It will be a better world if they succeed. Now, for their fake food * fake rice, fake eggs, fake cabbage *
