How to Add a Flipboard Sharing Button to your WordPress Blog
See also a quick tutorial by the lovely Lisa Burton
This old Ape decided to give it a go as well . . .
WELL . . .
Because I’m only an old Ape with one lonely brain cell, I needed to confer several times with Hugh, via email, eat lots of bananas, cast aspersions and practice my Anglo-Saxon at my poor innocent iPad (and the Flipboard App that was on it), then sit in a darkened room for several hours (asleep mainly) before I finally managed to cobble something together to start my Flipboard Magazines.
PHEW 😰
I’ve even managed to find a few Familiar Friendly Flippers to Follow (and some of them even followed me back – THANK YOU 🤗)
I’ve also inserted an addition Share Button under my posts and pages, (so you can share my posts – HINT 😄), plus, into my ‘Follow me Also On’ Page (see Tab above) and my sidebar (on the right column)
However, for anyone using a smartphone, the tabbed page and the sidebar may not be visible, so, I’m letting you know EVERYWHERE else I can be found online as well, by showing their icons below.
I’d love it if you were to click on the icons below
and follow me also on:

Chris, it was a pleasure helping you out in getting Flipboard set up. And thank you for including my links and also to the one on Craig’s blog. I’ve just checked his post out and left a comment for him.
Enjoy all your flipping. I’m sure Apes are very good at it. 😎

Welcome Hugh – I’m busy uploading to my ‘MEET an AUTHOR’ Magazine, but with over 500 of them in the Blog Hall of Fame, it’s going to take a while 😄😄😄

Good job, Chris! Given all you went through to set up your page, I doubt I’ll be meeting you there any time soon. But… One never knows. I might grow a new techie brain cell to rub together with the one I already have, and then they’ll be no stopping me 🙂

Would love to check out your Flipboard, Chris, but alas. When I click on the link, I get a message that says my browser isn’t compatible, and I should use one of the ” supported browsers listed in our FAQ.” Hmmmm. Maybe it’s just me, but how am I supposed to read a FAQ when my browser isn’t supported? Not to mention that I like the browser I’m using now.
😦
I swear, in the famous words of Roseanne Roseannadanna, it’s ALLL-ways sumthin’! 🙂

Which browser are you using Marcia?
If you have a Windows pc, as Hugh has, you should be able to get an app.
I use an iPad app, but I can still access Flipboard using Safari on my Mac.

I use Google. I prefer Firefox, but it doesn’t work well on my new computer. I don’t like Chrome at all, I’m afraid. When it said App, I figured it was for my iPhone, which I don’t like to browse with, either, unless I have to. Duh. I guess I can use it on my pc, huh? (But it still doesn’t help the dumb message telling me to read the FAQ’s, even though they just told me my browser doesn’t work. If I could access their FAQ page, I could probably access everything.) 🙂
Will go check out the App from Google search. Thanks, Chris.
