poignant timing I opened my email today Tuesday with your post – my father passed on the 1st Tuesday in November, Melbourne Cup day, a year ago. Last year Pappa, the ever distinguished gentleman, was dressed complete with hat and cane ready to go to a Cup luncheon when a massive heart attack struck. I know he will be with us today at a private family luncheon to watch The Race.
Really cool infographic! The combination the art and history incorporated in the cemetery symbols and symbolic meanings is really interesting.
