Google’s N-Gram offers some sporadic recognition of “until the bell tolls,” but neither till nor ’til register any hits at all!

N’grams CAN be deceptive though if you’re not careful. The use of Until in “death do us part” increased by 500% between 1963 and 2008. The use of Till increased by only 300%! (The trick there is to redo the graph without “Until” so that the “Till” increase shows more clearly.)
