Extract from an article on The News & Observer Online (dated 4th March 2015)

Noelle Granger, professor emeritus at UNC-Chapel Hill, has just launched the second novel in her Rhe Brewster Mystery series – “Death in a Dacron Sail.”
If asked to describe a traditional Thanksgiving, most Americans have no trouble recalling the usual parade of turkey, football and pumpkin pie.
But on the eve of Thanksgiving 2012, one Chapel Hill mother ushered her California-based daughter into the family home with a warm hug and asked: “Play dead for me?”
And thus started a new family tradition.
Thanks for posting this, Chris!

Very welcome Noelle – it was Zoe the Fabulous Feline (and possibly her pet, Emily) who let me know about it 😀

Loved reading Noelle’s mystery author genesis story – but FOUR YEARS? Yiikes – my patience is already in limited supply. 🙂 I must admit, however, as much as WordPress makes me crazy with broken bits when they “update” practically anything, I still prefer links to other WordPress Blogs. It makes it so much easier to comment, like, and navigate. (Something about silver and clouds . . . ) Thanks for finding this.

I’m doing better now, Madelyn. About nine months from beginning to end of a book, but the endless editing takes another 18 months!

AND . . . now that you are already published, that part is quicker too, right? Who suspected that the actual writing would be the EASY part. 🙂
