Hahaha! I can definitely identify with these. Of my three sons, only one ate anything and everything. The other two were the pickiest of picky eaters.

There was another Calvin&Hobbes cartoon about eating stuffed bell pepper – his mother sold it as ape-heads (sorry, ape) after Calvin declared:
Whatever we are having for Dinner, I am not eating it.
After her declaration he ate
and the father said, when his son commented:
“What’s that? The nose?”
“Whatever this is, I am not eating it.”
