A gaggle of geese – always my favorite. I can’t help but wonder who decided that a bunch of geese comprised a gaggle, and where did gaggle come from in the first place? A skein of geese? A ubiquity of sparrows? A flutter of butterflies makes sense and sounds lovely. This is going to be worse than an ear-worm. I won’t be able to concentrate on anything else today. A sleuth of bears or a sloth of bears?

One that I remember from a similar list but don’t see on this one is “a congress of baboons”.
