Unfortunately, I always have doubts. Just a learned trait from way back. What I know and what I think and believe have long been at odds.

I prefer to let the readers decide if they like my work. Why get the opinion of one underpaid failed writer when you can take your work directly to the people that were meant to be entertained by it? You will get honest assessments of your reading without the bias and prejudice of publishing company employees. Indie Authors Unite!

It can be hugely daunting sending even a short story, but over time it gets better. But great advice for moments of self doubt, something every writer goes through.
