This has happened to me several times, but they are still my friends regardless and I always live in hope they’ll take up writing again, because they have that precious storytelling talent 😀

I know a wonderful writer who has quit writing due to certain changes in her life circumstances. We did stay in contact occasionally. And I ALWAYS hope she’ll return to writing. She’s so gifted. I heard lately she thinks about coming back.
I’ve had a couple of writing friends wander off, but luckily my closest buds are still around. Some have taken jobs, but come back, or have left my critique groups but stayed in contact.
