Fowl Parenting by Brian Gordon & Parenting Comics by Kos Og Kaos

I just couldn’t resist re-blogging this post LOLOL 😀

Dedicated to my author friend, Helen Jones, the conclusion to my three-part bird special has to do with my getting into the role of dad. Obviously, a crucial part of the preparation is reading parenting comics. Some of the best I’ve come across are by Brian Gordon, a cartoonist who’s also a dad. This means he’s got plenty of inspiration for the parenting comics he creates for his website, Fowl Language.

Upworthy recently posted a fine selection, whence these great comics.

And my personal favorite:

If you enjoyed that, you may also enjoy this. Kinda late for Electra and me, but there you have it.

If you enjoyed these, be sure to also check out Kos og Kaos (Kos and Chaos), where I found this gem, among others:

  1. Don’t worry in the end there will be joy because you become a grandparent. When my granddaughter was 3 she was staying at our home for a few days. She had two ice creams that day. After dinner (her request) of Boingy noodles (Ramin) a hot dog and a couple of strawberry’s. She had her bath and was watching TV with Grampi (as she calls him) I was on the computer. She came to me and in the sweetest voice she could conjure up asked me if she could have another snack, this is how the conversation went;
    “Nonni could I have another ice cream?”
    “Another one?”
    Sweetest smile ever. “Pleasssssee”
    “Would mommy let you have another one?”
    Head down “No”
    “Well your Nonni says YES you can have another one.”
    “YEAH NONNI, I LOVE YOU,” as she is running down the stairs.
    A couple of weeks later she was coming again. She came running in the house, turned around to her parents who had just entered and said. “OK, you can leave now.”
    There is a reward at the end of the rainbow. :o)
