That’s the phonic alphabet Ritu? My daughter was taught that in Primary School many years ago and had to be retaught the real alphabet when she left – She always was a clever girl, but it still took a full school year to get her out of it…

It is what the National Curriculum requires nowadays… And it is taught not in the order of the Alphabet either… so though it can be good to help with reading, and spelling, it has its downfalls too….
