I’m writing this post because it has come to my attention several times by some of my readers that they occasionally wanted to reblog some of my posts but commented that there was no ‘reblog‘ button on my page to share.As readers and writers, we are not all technically gifted and that little button makes it easy to share the blog instantly to your own blog. Unfortunately, when someone owns their own domain, that is, not having their blog on WordPress.com, they aren’t afforded the ability to add a ‘reblog‘ button from the plugins in their dashboards. Finally! Mystery solved as to why some sites don’t have reblog buttons. I wondered if reblogging was somehow frowned upon in the upper echelons. I’m thankful to know it’s not!

Welcome Sue – It seems every self hosted blog has a slightly different way to do this, but at least this will let people know that there’s a button somewhere 😃

It has irked me for a while that I can’t reblog great posts from self-hosted sites… especially when they invite sharing! The Press This function seems to work very well… AND you can save them for later apparently 🙂
