I’m often overwhelmed by the enormous amount Tweets.
What to read, where to click, sometimes it becomes too much.
Retweet, respond, forward, tweet…. What???
If you’re like me, you want to throw up your hands and quit trying.
Well, don’t. There is a way to get organized on Twitter.
Confession, I’m not there yet, but I’m working on it.
Some organization is better than none.
Go read this article on how to organize your lists on Twitter. Lists cuts tweets down to bite size, manageable pieces.

I have lists and those are the ones I check first. Then I check the mainstream time permitting.

Hi Alice,
Thank you for your interest in my Twitter list article that Jean and Chris promoted.
Interesting that you check the lists before the mainstream. Most people check the mainstream first due to familiarity. That’s why I wrote the article to introduce them to Twitter lists.

It is a timesaving issue and also because my favorite accounts are clustered on those lists.

Hi Alice,
I just came from your site, but I could not figure out how to make a comment. I liked your Thanksgiving post. Do you know crime writer Sue Colletta? I am guest posting for her. Thanks again for your liking my Twitter article and your comments here on Chris’s site.

To be honest, if all people tweet about is their books, I lose interest pretty quickly. However, I’ve found some fun accounts to follow and am slowly getting the hang of it, though it can be a bit tough to keep up with at times. I’ve tried using Hootsuite to organise everything, though I don’t know if it’s helping me LOL.

I actually only use Twitter for spreading my blog posts Helen – Like you, I can’t keep up with all the social media available 🙃

Yes, I’ve had to limit myself or else I would just spend all my time on social media with no time to actually write! So I just stick with what I know, FB, Twitter and blogging – which is definitely enough 🙂

For me it’s mainly research and blogging, plus book covers, trailers 😱

Hi Helen,
Thank you for your interest in my Twitter list article that Chris and Jean featured on their blogs. I also use Hootsuite to organize my Twitter postings. I feel when I get traffic from Twitter it’s due to those postings. Thanks again.
