A few years back I realized that every really stupid and regrettable thing I’d ever done was committed while I was ‘sophisticated.’ Me don’t do dat no more.

I’m quite amazed that Danny the Dog knows what sophisticated is! I’ve had a couple of times when I was a little – no somewhat – well maybe substantially – okay totally – bombed and I thought I sounded quite intelligent and glib. When I was much younger, of course.
