I remember watching Bob Ross create beautiful pictures in less than an hour on PBS in Boston (as a teenager, and then the re-runs as an adult). I always enjoyed his skill, and it’s true—whenever he made a “mistake,” he just turned it into something that appeared deliberate! 😀
