Ummmm, only a dependent clause that comes before the independent clause OR at the end of a clause that is one of three or more clauses in a series. (I know. Cat’s don’t care what we think and will do their own thing. It’s what we love about them.)

Oh, yeah, we also use a comma at the end of the first independent clause of two joined together by a coordinating conjunction (FANBOYS).
