Sorry Noelle – I have no back story, but I should think that any photographer who was moved enough to take this photo (even if it was ‘composed’), or the person whose foot it was rubbing against, would not have the heart to discard the kitten…

I really hope someone looked after it after the picture had been taken. Who could take photos when there’s a kitty needing food and love???
