Yes, I agree that it is never too late to write. It is like wine; you get better as you age. In life, there is much more you can contribute if you know more about what you are speaking of. The age of the list of the esteemed writers you mentioned is a proof that anyone who has reached a certain age should not be discouraged to share their wealth of knowledge. In writing, age is never a handicapped. In fact, it is a great teacher to young minds waiting out there to learn what they do not know about life.
