So you are looking for a post from little old me? What can I say at your tree? Do you notice I talk in rhyme? Do you consider that a crime? Is this too many questions for you right off the bat? I guess I will get on with the story about Pat Hatt.

I am so daft, I must have been born a raft. But then crazy as can be, Sure works for me. On with it you say? Geez, bossy at your bay. I can be mouthy I guess. See, another thing I confess. How I got started? A book came out when I farted? What? You don’t believe me? Damn, can’t fool thee. The novels came about as the ideas just floated in. I have 4 done with two more being done at my bin. Plus two short rhyming ones too. 20,000 words in rhyme for those came due. Then at the moment 35 kids books or so. Those just pop out with my flow. They started because of my blog. I guess you can say a cat led me through the fog. There I rhyme every day. Haven’t missed a day in 3 years at my bay. Helps when you are 130 posts ahead. It is mostly pg and shouldn’t cause dread. What tips do I have for one and all? Hmmm just write at your hall. Let it flow and don’t say you will do it. Actually do it at your pit. Takes work every day. Can’t just stick it up and say, “okay!” Have to try this, that and the other thing, If you ever want to make it at your wing. Be prepared for hate too. Some of that will always come due. But just remember one thing, Even the most popular things ever have haters ready to spring. So ignore them and be on your way. Write and write some more at your bay. It will be easy enough to do, Once you ignore the first few. And what are my books about? I never gave that a shout? We could be here all day, If I gave them all their say. So from fantasy to sci-fi in novels of mine, To blogland renditions of those that follow the feline. Are what the novels are about. Gods and myths also are given a shout. As for kids books there are a ton, But I will give them a quick run. Superheroes are in store, With Catality, Tarsier Man and Zombie Man creating heroes of lore. Farts, dragons and even Truedessa and Captain Pat, Go on adventures with a spotted cat. Ghosts, one shoe kangaroos and more, Will be there for you to explore. Now I guess I am through. Did I amuse you? Did I get hate? Both can be a fun fate. |

Thanks for having me at your door, now I am off to explore. I hope I don’t leave people giving you too much sass, for it has been known to happen because of my little rhyming ass.
Thanks for the guest spot, enjoyed it a lot!

Enjoyed your poetry filled with sass
That still had some added class.
You must think every day in rhyme.
I, too, do it a lot of the time.
Best wishes for success with your books.
When I can I will take a look.

I enjoyed reading your post and seeing all your books on display. Always something new from you as you weave some great books. Kids will love your stories as they chime into the rhymes. Great illustrations as well to stir the imagination. If you haven’t checked out Pat Hatt you should as I am sure you will want to grab a book for that special child in your life.

I love your work, Pat. And your illustrations are awesome. Shared on FB, LI, Twitter. I’ll soon be publishing the first in my series of children’s books, so this post is timely. Best of luck in your writing 🙂
