I couldn’t agree more. Not only that you have to tell a great story with a few words, but also, children are a TOUGH audience. They ask questions, they want to know more, and they will tell you if they don’t like it!

Certainly not if you’re a man as you’ll find 95% of literary agents/publishers involved with kidlit are women: no wonder boys’ reading is collapsing.
