Meet Guest Author Chris Tucker

Chris TuckerHi, my name is Chris Tucker and I am an author within the action / adventure / suspense / thriller genres. I live in Denver, Colorado with my son and my pup. My novel was just recently released and I am currently working on the second one, as well as writing a short story series in the zombie/horror genre.

I wrote my novel “Lost Voyage” after coming across a book on tape in the Honolulu library (I lived in Hawaii for 2 years) and an idea popped into my head. I had always wanted to write a book and I figured that would be the time to start. I had a pretty good storyline in my head and I just started writing one night. Due to having a son and other life issues, it took me well over 10 years to finally bring it to publication, but nevertheless, it is now out there for the world to read…something I am extremely proud of.

I decided on the self-publishing route after listening to a few fellow author friends, but am still looking into larger publishers in an effort to try and make ‘the big time” with my writing.

I play guitar in a band, love to hike and camp, and even get in an occasional 18 holes in on my local golf course. My most enjoyable moments, however, are the ones spent with my son.

Lost Voyage is an action-packed adventure with suspense, intrigue, drama, comedy and so much more. Here is a brief description…

Lost_VoyageIn 1857, a steamship carrying a valuable cargo vanishes during a storm. For well over a century her whereabouts are unknown until one day she is discovered lying beneath the forest of the Nicaraguan jungle.

Sean Mercer, along with NESA (National Environmental Security Agency), is in Nicaragua studying the effects of water pollution that have wreaked havoc on local communities.

What they uncover is more sinister and deadly than just the threat of tainted water. Mass genocide, brutal dictatorship, and a country living in fear of its own leaders is just the beginning of what Sean and his team must put an end to before it’s too late.

When knowledge of a ship with a priceless cache surfaces, two sides struggle to uncover the mystery of how and why the lost ship came to be buried so far from sea, and what exactly it is that lies beneath the dense forest floor.

Now, it’s a race against time to stop the bloodshed, find the ship, and retrieve the valuable cargo before Mercer and NESA become victims themselves.

I truly hope everyone has as much fun reading it as I did writing it!
