HELP!
My Uncle Chris and I were swinging through the trees around the Jungles of Manchester and beyond when we suddenly realised that we had got lost!
Then we saw a lovely colourful cottage made of Gingerbread, icing and glazed Cherries, it also had a big sign that said APE’s WELCOME HERE, so we knuckled over to investigate further.
Before we had a chance to use the funny looking knocker (the face of a smiling Lion with his tongue sticking out), the door burst open and a tall handsome man wearing glasses and a peaked cap ushered us inside with promises of refreshments, including banana cake and banana split ice-cream, YUM!
As soon as Uncle Chris sat on the comfy looking big armchair, steel bands whipped out and secured him, making it impossible to escape – THEN all the lights went out except for one spotlight that shone onto his face and a disembodied voice rang out…
TELL ME ALL APE, OR THE KID WITH THE BAD HAIR DAY GETS IT!
OK – OK my Uncle cried out – What do you want to know?
EVERYTHING the voice stated menacingly EVERYTHING ABOUT THE STORY READING APE!
