That was awesome, Chris. Great job. And a sober message. I don’t think humans stand a chance. Our leaders don’t realize yet that they can’t survive on a dead planet.
A powerful video, Chris. I will be sharing, but as my own post has only just gone out on my website, I’ll do it later!
We assume that evolution will automatically culminate in intelligence. But is that true? It’s survival of the fittest, after all. If by being bigger, stronger, fiercer, able to hide for either ambush or escape than others, then you’ll survive to pass on your genes.
We forget that the dinosaurs lasted for millions of years, much longer than humans have. Mammals only came to the fore because of the asteroid strike that finished off the dinosaurs leaving a space that mammals filled. Then a more intelligent ape was born who could solve the problems they faced. He or she passed on their genes, and these more intelligent ones survived and intelligence gradually increased culminating in us.
Question for your readers: Are we currently undergoing a reverse evolution? Stupidity and lack of foresight seems to be increasing. Especially among the ‘leaders’ who don’t seem to see the urgency of climate change and prioritise money over the survival of life on this planet.
Leaders not seeing and acting on the urgency of climate change is precisely the point I was trying to get across, Viv, they KNOW what needs to be done, but their love of money and popularity is blindfolding them 😔☹️

They aren’t even thinking of their own kids and grandkids, Diana, only thinking of themselves and their wealth ☹️
