In my humble opinion, a writer should be doing what they do best and writing. Let the designer do what they are good at. Lol- I always do it myself. Cheap skinflint. Lol- do what I say not what I do.

It irritates me that Kindlepreneur doesnt engage in comments; it doesnt seem to have a comments box.
What it doesnt say in that article, is that if you are preparing a paperback, most of those fancy design software things will be a waste of time, because you’ll need your print/publisher’s software or design format, or read what they’ll take as your file before you pick any of the others.
Mine needs an rtf (text) file, plugged into its own design software. You put any graphics in separately. Of course, if you know how you want it to look, it helps…
