nkoda: a new e-reader app for sheet music

The Library been in talks with nkoda, a new publisher Nkoda Roundal Logo red (Text Below)backed e-reader app for sheet music, and they’ve invited staff and students at Glasgow to take part in a beta test. At the minute it’s available for iPad via the App Store (NB: this requires you to sign up for a subscription which will start after a month – you can cancel before it starts if you don’t want to take out a subscription). However, you can also test for free if you have an Android tablet or iMac/Macbook. To sign up for the beta test:

* Go to www.nkoda.com and sign up to the beta via the website (at the bottom of the page)
* You will be directed to a confirmation page and sent a confirmation email.
