I’ve recently become a big Bizarro fan! For a long time I never looked at it that carefully, and then I suddenly realized that the cartoonist always includes some or all of certain weird elements – the eyeball, the little eyeball guy in the flying saucer, the piece of pie that looks like a crocodile, the ignited stick of dynamite – and sometimes a picture with an upside down bird or a crazy looking rabbit … Now I really get a kick out of scanning the cartoon for which elements he decided to include that day. And the artwork is quite skillful, too.
