One way or another. Hopefully without need for a story-ectomy.

I encounter stories everyday, all day. There are so many mysteries and tales of all kinds out there in the world. For instance, just sitting at your window watching people (or animals) as they walk by one can just imagine their life stories by the way the walk, what they wear, happy or sad, what kind of doggy/human they walk with and from there all kinds of stories evolve. For example, the squirrel who is hanging upside down right now, from my maple tree, chatting angrily with the neighbor’s gray cat, who has lemon colored eyes, and who is about to use the squirrel like a Pinata or the man at the Kroger supermarket (this morning) wearing a gray and wrinkled London fog raincoat (it’s not even raining), standing at the butcher’s counter looking at a nice piece of sirloin steak, that he can’t afford. Just from that alone, an entire interesting story can evolve. I hope I haven’t gone on too much about discovering stories. 🙂
