Comments can be such a touchy thing. Well meaning people can purely by accident say something that causes a cascade of criticism from other commenters. It happened to me a couple of years ago, and I very nearly stopped writing. But there are many other types of problematic comments.
Mega Monday hugs, dear Ape.

That’s why I vet and amend any comments made in possible haste or bad temper Teagan – regards the attackers – I delete them if they are TOO bad (a few times I’ve contacted both parties and advised them to grow up or stay out of my blog – in fairness, they mostly chose to grow up and apologised to each other 😀 )

Good policy. I do much the same. In my example they weren’t so bad. None the less I felt bullied; ganged up on. So I deleted the entire thread. It hasn’t happened again, but then again, I became freer with the use of the delete button… 🙂 More hugs.
