And even more so when you work in a bookstore! For many years, I did the book returns for friends who owned a bookstore, and the books I set aside to buy frequently piled higher than the ones I actually returned. A credit card in the hands of a book lover inside a bookstore can be a deadly affair 🙂

My husband goes with me when I go to a book store, to control the spending – but then HE buys a book or two. We’re incorrigible!

My wife and I used to haunt book stores (especially the little independents) but now she goes in on her own and I stay outside because the dust and ink fumes make breathing difficult for me – I miss those times… 😃
