For some reason I keep thinking of ‘The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy’. Not sure how many people remember that one.

It’s about two kids who trick the Grim Reaper into becoming their servant for the rest of their lives. Came from the same era of American cartoons as Samurai Jack, Powerpuff Girls, and Dexter’s Lab.
