  4. I am trying to get my 11 year old granddaughter to do this. When I point out the error, she sees it and corrects but needs to do the same without me. No matter how good a proofreader I think I am I know it is best to let someone else take a scan. Our mind often sees what is supposed to be there instead of the error we’ve made.
