Cheer Chris! You’re absolutely right… this applies whomever one interviews or promotes any kind of work with. 🙂
I think it’s helpful to provide guidance and tips once in a while, especially as there are always new authors exploring ways to promote their work. Of course it doesn’t hurt for experienced authors to be reminded either… keeps them on their paws! 😉
