Words Ireland is offering a minimum of 15 literature mentoring relationships to begin in September 2018.
The fields covered are:
– literary fiction,
– creative non-fiction,
– children’s / YA fiction,
– poetry
There is a minimum of five mentoring opportunities open to writers resident in any county in Ireland, north or south of the border who have published one or two books and feel they could benefit from professional guidance and feedback on their work-in-progress. But don’t hold back, if you haven’t been published yet because they promise to also consider applications from emerging writers. Even so, you have to demonstrate a strong commitment to writing, for example, through journal publications, awards, significant training/courses undertaken or “other forms of recognition from the literature sector”.
