Hope it helps everyone – even the ‘seasoned’ authors can fall foul of these scams Maria…

This is one of the main reasons why I encourage all writers to learn something about the business of publishing and selling books – so they will know the fake offers from the legitimate. There’s always someone out there who will gladly take advantage of inexperience and trust and will walk all over starry-eyed dreams just to make a buck. Not everyone is a scammer, but just be aware that there are unscrupulous people everywhere, in every business, and learn enough about this book business so you can tell the difference between the good and the bad operators. And continue to read and heed these articles being reposted by The Story Reading Ape!
